“The most southerly campsite in Britain, medium-sized but exclusively for campervans (we saw lots of VW campers and no caravans). The pitches are amazing - self-contained, walled with small garden areas for each pitch and your own picnic table. The site facilities are rustic, but lots of clean toilets, showers etc. The whole place is "home built" by the family who run it along a very hippy vibe. They hold their own festival here each September. It's great for families - our toddler loved the many animals on site and would ask to see the chicks and guinea pigs first thing every day! Close to Lizard Point and the lighthouse; lots of great walking on the South West Coast path, Kynance Cove is walkable for the beach and swimming." - Natalie & Alasdair

"We love to go to Nunnington Farm, West Wittering. We have been there two years running and plan to go again this year. It’s a small family site where children can get to know farm animals, use the lovely play area and it has an excellent shower and toilet block. There’s a beach close by which we bike or walk to and a bike route to the next village, where there are excellent restaurants and a great sweet shop. I could go on and on about this place, my grandchildren love it and never want to come home! The only thing against this camp site is that you can't book and have to get there early for a place."

“This family campsite has an indoor pool, a shop, cafe and good facilities, while still offering peace and a beautiful natural location. The Anchor Inn at Seatown is a short walk away and offers excellent food, though it gets very busy in peak season. Pitches have sea views and it’s a short walk to the beach. You’re on the South West Coast Path, so it’s highly recommended for walkers and those with dogs.” - Sue

This is a quiet, dog-friendly campsite, with heated toilet facilities. “This is a spacious family-run campsite set in 54 acres, in an area of outstanding natural beauty, and we enjoyed seeing the farm animals and walking on trails through Wychwood Forest. The site shop sells freshly baked bread and croissants, as well as alcohol. The heated washrooms include disabled facilities, family bathrooms and hair dryers. Dogs are welcome. There’s plenty for families here, with children’s play areas, a tennis court and skittle alley. In the games room you can play air hockey, pool, table football and table tennis. Outdoors there are football nets, disc golf, a zip wire and some fitness equipment as part of the forest trails. If you’re meeting non-campervan friends, they can stay in a glamping pod from £35 per night, or the farm’s B&B and self-catering cottages.” - Jeff

"This is a lovely campsite for family holidays, being only three miles from the sandy beaches and safe bathing at Sandown and Shanklin. We walked to the pub at Newchurch for a meal, and another day we went to the garlic farm. The site facilities are excellent and there’s lots of tourist information available for anyone wanting to go fishing, playing golf, tennis, horse riding or doing water sports.” - Ben
