VW Caledonia

If you love the idea of owning one of the iconic old Volkswagen campervans but need something practical, reliable and new, the VW Caledonia by Sussex Campervans is perfect for you

The name Volkswagen is practically synonymous with campervans, so here at Sussex Campervans we’re happy to offer our own range of Volkswagen campervans. They're based on the latest Volkswagen (VW) T6 vans, with their excellent reliable, low-emission Euro 6 diesel engines with AdBlue and all the 21st Century luxuries you’d expect in a new VW camper. You can buy stock, or have one built to order.

The first time I jumped into a Volkswagen T6-based campervan I was really pleased - it drives like a car, with plenty of oomph to get up hills or cruise on the motorway. My Volkswagen Caledonia campervan is shorter than some estate cars, such as the BMW 5 series, so you can drive one anywhere. It’s pretty eye-catching, too – a new VW campervan icon in the making. You’ll turn heads in a Volkswagen Caledonia from Sussex Campervans, so don’t forget to wave to fellow campervan drivers on the road.

Unique features in the Sussex Campervans Caledonia range include our own design of Rock and Roll bed - a double seat with seatbelts that converts swiftly into a comfy double bed. Then there's the 'SX Upgrade' which has proved a big hit. With the under-body heater and underslung LPG tank fitted as standard, the only options people add tend to be a solar panel, a bike rack or an awning. Daniel explains more in this video - Electricity, Solar, Gas and Heating: The Latest for Your New Campervan.

The VW Caledonia (SWB) starts from £39,995 (“brand new secondhand”) or from £49,995 (brand new) and you can specify many extra design touches, to make it uniquely yours.
