What’s the difference between models?

We source the van and convert it for you, based on the following Sussex Campervans layouts - compare our campervans here

PARADISE COMPACT

  • Built on Vauxhall Vivaro/Renault Trafic/Nissan NV300 SWB
  • Pop-top roof generally, although a factory high roof is available too.
  • Sleeping in the Paradise Compact is in the centre section, lengthways along the vehicle, including the front seats, as two single beds, or with central insert as a double.
  • Has a central table on stalk-mount with four seats around it.
  • Rear kitchen includes an integrated twin-burner hob and sink, covered with heat-resistant glass lid, also a 50L fridge, microwave and plenty of storage.

PARADISE DELUXE

  • Built on Vauxhall Vivaro/Renault Trafic/Nissan NV300 LWB
  • Pop-top roof.
  • Sleeping in the Paradise Deluxe is in the centre section, lengthways along the vehicle, including the swivelled front seats, as two single beds, or with central insert as a double.
  • Has a central table on stalk-mount with four seats around it.
  • Rear kitchen features a full-sized cooker with oven and four gas rings, also a sink with running water, 50L fridge, microwave and storage.
  • Includes a fixed cassette toilet with vanity unit above and an upholstered seat cushion so that it doubles as a handy seat next to the rear doors.

VW CALEDONIA SWB

  • Built on a VW Transporter T6 SWB with ‘classic’ side-kitchen layout.
  • The VW Caledonia SWB from Sussex Campervans has two single front seats as a rule, but it can be done with factory front seats, giving an extra belted seat.
  • Pop-top roof.
  • Rock ‘n’ Roll type folding seat bed at the back, either one with 2 or 3 belts, or a seat unit which allows extra storage at the rear.
  • The passenger seat swivels, and there's a pedestal table.
  • The driver’s seat can also swivel if required.

MANHATTAN SWB

  • Built on a Vivaro/Trafic/Nissan NV300 SWB, the Manhattan Compact campervan has one or two swivel front seats, and Rock ‘n’ Roll bed to rear.
  • Four or five travel seats - depending whether you have the factory-fitted double passenger seat in the cab, or two single cab seats.
  • Pop-top roof.
  • Side kitchen.
  • Similar in layout to our VW Caledonia.

MANHATTAN LONG-WHEELBASE MPV

  • Built on a Vivaro/Trafic/Nissan NV300, retaining the factory double + single seats at the front, giving five belted seats, or even six with extra lapbelt to rear centre position for occasional use.
  • The Manhattan MPV from Sussex Campervans is a pop-top.
  • Optional ottoman seat with storage under fitted behind factory front seats, with same cabinetry as Manhattan SWB.
  • Gives a great seating area in the rear for a family of 5 or even 6.
  • A small child could sleep on the ottoman, as they could across the front cab seats… plus two in the upholstered pop-top roof bed.

CAMPERCAR NV200

  • This is a Nissan NV200 conversion with pop-top, in classic ‘side-kitchen’ style, but miniaturised to suit the much smaller vehicle.
  • Generally most suitable for a couple.
  • A classic campervan in a small package.
  • Good for daily driving with great economy and manoeuverability.
  • Four for travel; sleeps two – but it’s possible to add a roof bed to allow a child to sleep there occasionally.
  • Choice of petrol-auto with tailgate - or the UK spec diesel-manual with barn doors.
  • An awning rail is provided so that you can easily extend the space by adding a pop-up inflatable drive-away awning.
